Location: Worcester
Salary: £16.32 per hour (£38,000 per annum minimum)
Our client, a well-established distribution business supplying products to commercial customers across the UK, are seeking a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join their Worcester depot on a permanent basis, completing multi-drop deliveries whilst providing a high standard of customer service.
Job Overview
*Complete multi-drop deliveries to customer sites
*Average of 15 drops per day
*Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
*Load and unload products safely and efficiently
*Ensure deliveries are completed professionally and on time
*Comply with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and road transport legislation
*Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and vehicle records
*Keep vehicles clean, fuelled, and ready for operation
*Report any incidents or accidents in line with company procedures
Requirements
*Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
*Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
*Minimum 6 month Class 2 Experience
*Previous multi-drop driving experience would be advantageous
*Good understanding of Driver Hours and transport legislation
*Strong customer service and communication skills
*Reliable with excellent timekeeping
*Health & Safety conscious with a professional approach
Salary & Benefits
*£16.32 per hour (£38,000 per annum minimum)
*Permanent, full-time position
*Monday - Friday, Guaranteed 45-hour working week
*Overtime paid at time and a half
*Variable start and finish times with occasional nights out
*Monthly bonus scheme of up to £150 following successful probation
*Full uniform and kit provided
*21 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
