We are seeking an organised and detail-focused Warehouse Administrator to join a busy warehouse and operations team on a maternity cover contract.
This role is vital in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of warehouse operations through the accurate processing of customer orders, stock movements, shipping documentation, and operational records. Working closely with warehouse colleagues, transport providers, suppliers, and customers, you will help ensure inventory accuracy, efficient order fulfilment, and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
*Process customer orders accurately and within agreed timescales.
*Coordinate carrier bookings, collections, and dispatch schedules.
*Prepare shipping documentation, courier labels, and associated paperwork.
*Track shipments and maintain accurate dispatch records.
*Liaise with transport providers to support on-time deliveries.
*Process inbound delivery documentation and update internal systems.
*Process stock receipts, transfers, adjustments, and inventory transactions.
*Verify inbound deliveries against purchase orders and investigate discrepancies.
*Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS and ERP systems.
*Record and report damaged, missing, or rejected stock.
*Assist with stock takes, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations.
*Generate inventory and operational reports as required.
*Maintain warehouse records, documentation, and filing systems.
*Support the Operations Manager with general administration and reporting.
*Respond to customer enquiries relating to orders, deliveries, and stock availability.
*Work closely with suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
*Support picking, packing, and dispatch activities during busy periods when required.
*Carry out additional warehouse and operational duties as needed.
What We’re Looking For
You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, you will be able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and delivering excellent customer service.
Requirements include:
*Previous warehouse, logistics, or supply chain administration experience.
*Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or ERP systems.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
*Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
*Ability to work accurately under pressure and prioritise workloads effectively.
*A reliable, proactive, and customer-focused approach.
Nice to Have
*Experience using Oracle ERP systems.
*Experience producing reports and analysing operational data.
*Previous experience supporting inventory control, stock accuracy, and warehouse reporting activities.
