Full job descriptionOur client, Shropshire Council, is seeking a Senior Social Worker for its Duty & Assessment team.


This is a temporary ongoing post.


Paid at £38 per hour.

The role will involve the following:
*Duty & Assessment team
*Completing SWA
*S47
*S7
*S37
*Completing initial CIN, CP core groups.
*Court statement and care plan if we need to attend an initial court hearing.
*Every other week on duty where worker needs to be in the office – off duty SW will manage their time with some home working and completing follow up visits.


Requirements of the role:
*Qualified Social Worker
*Fully Social Work England registered
*3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
*Must have significant post-qualified experience in children’s social care ideally in a children’s assessment / duty / triage / safeguarding setting.
