Full job descriptionFor some students, the classroom is a place of anxiety; you can make it a place of joy again. We are seeking SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Mentor Tutors in Nottinghamshire who value confidence as much as curriculum.
*The Role: This isn’t just about tutoring; it’s about mentorship. You’ll build trust and spark confidence in young people who have disengaged from mainstream education.
*The Students: You’ll be a champion for looked-after children and disengaged young people, helping them navigate their educational journey through empathy and emotional intelligence.
*Engagement First: Your key responsibility is to deliver engaging sessions that cater to the student’s emotional well-being first, ensuring they feel safe to learn.
*The Pay:£20 - £30 per hour (dependant on experience).
