We are working with a respected local law firm that is looking to appoint an experienced Legal Cashier to join its friendly and professional finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous legal accounts experience who is looking for a stable role within a supportive firm, with hybrid working, an excellent benefits package and genuine opportunities for professional development.
The Role
As Legal Cashier, you will play an important role in ensuring the firm’s financial processes are managed accurately and efficiently, while maintaining full compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and SRA requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Managing client accounts and ensuring ongoing compliance with SRA regulations.
*Monitoring and processing daily client funds.
*Processing CHAPS, BACS and FPS electronic payments.
*Handling payments, receipts, transfers, manual cheques and cash banking.
*Posting expenses, including fees and travel expenses.
*Processing and managing InfoTrack and Land Registry invoices.
*Maintaining accurate financial records and completing relevant filing.
*Supporting the wider accounts team with day-to-day financial and administrative duties.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
*Previous experience working within legal accounts.
*A good working knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
*The ability to work accurately and confidently with financial information.
*Good communication skills and a professional approach.
*The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Candidates should live within approximately a one-hour commute of Tunbridge Wells.
