JOB HOURS: Mon to Fri 8.30-5.30 with 1 hour for lunch
JOB WORKING: Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 working from home

A well-established and growing organisation is looking to appoint an HR Advisor to join its HR & Training team. Operating across multiple sites, this business places a strong emphasis on employee engagement, development and creating a positive working culture. You’ll be joining a supportive HR function where you can make a genuine impact across the full employee life cycle.

Your new role
As HR Advisor, you will work closely with senior leaders and managers across the business, providing expert guidance on a wide range of people-related matters. You’ll support day-to-day HR operations while helping to drive initiatives that improve employee engagement and workplace experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Providing end-to-end HR administration support, including onboarding, employee records and employee life cycle changes
*Producing and analysing HR reports and metrics, including absence, turnover and engagement data
*Advising managers on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, investigations, absence and performance issues
*Supporting recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, screening candidates and coordinating interviews
*Maintaining HR policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice
*Supporting the delivery of employee engagement initiatives and HR-related training
*Building strong relationships with employees and managers across the organisation.


What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification or possess equivalent HR experience. You’ll have proven experience operating in an HR Advisory capacity, with strong employee relations knowledge and a sound understanding of UK employment law.You’ll also need:
*A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region when required to assist with occasional ER cases.
*Experience advising and influencing managers and senior leaders
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
*A proactive, approachable and solutions-focused attitude
*The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
