Contract | £400 per day | Inside IR35 | South West | Defence


We need a hands-on Data and Digital Solutions Lead who can turn complex engineering or operational problems into practical, working solutions.


The role
*Shape and deliver data and digital solutions from concept through to implementation
*Translate unclear requirements into robust technical designs
*Build solutions using Python, cloud and modern data technologies
*Apply AI, machine learning and automation to operational challenges
*Support digital-twin, data-platform and engineering-application development
*Lead technical delivery and engage confidently with senior stakeholders
*Ensure solutions meet strict defence security and governance requirements
What we need
*Strong data, digital or solution-architecture experience
*Hands-on Python and data engineering capability
*Experience with AI, machine learning, automation or digital twins
*Background in engineering, infrastructure, defence or another complex regulated environment
*Proven ability to take loosely defined problems through to working solutions
*Strong technical leadership and stakeholder-management skills
*Immediately available or on very short notice
*Able to work regularly on-site in the South West
