About the Opportunity

With continued investment in its Strategic Advisory practice, the business is seeking an experienced Managing Director to help drive growth, lead client relationships, and contribute to the long-term development of the platform.


Key Responsibilities

*Act as a trusted adviser to CEOs, CFOs, Boards, and senior management teams on strategic and corporate matters.
*Lead and develop long-term relationships with corporate clients across a range of sectors.
*Advise clients on major corporate events, capital allocation decisions, shareholder engagement strategies, and market positioning.
*Originate and execute new business opportunities, contributing to the continued growth of the advisory practice.
*Partner with senior leadership to expand the firm’s market presence and client franchise.
*Lead, mentor, and develop junior members of the team, fostering a high-performance culture.
*Deliver strategic insights derived from market dynamics, investor perspectives, and industry trends.
*Work collaboratively across senior stakeholders internally to provide clients with best-in-class advice.


Candidate Profile

*Proven track record within Equity Research, Strategic Advisory, Corporate Broking, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, or a related advisory environment.
*Established relationships with senior corporate executives and management teams.
*Demonstrated ability to operate in a highly client-facing environment and develop trusted adviser relationships.
*Strong commercial mindset with experience winning, developing, and growing client mandates.
*Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the credibility to engage Board-level stakeholders.
*Previous leadership experience, including managing and developing teams.
*Deep sector expertise and a strong market profile within their coverage area.
