Full job description STUDENT MOVE-IN TEAM – NEWCASTLE & DURHAM

Are you bubbly, energetic and love meeting new people?
We’re looking for enthusiastic team members to help welcome students as they move into their new accommodation this September!

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the first impression new students have when arriving in Newcastle or Durham. You’ll be helping make what can be a stressful and exciting day feel smooth, welcoming and memorable.

DATES
We have shifts available on:
10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 17th, 18th, 19th & 20th September

SHIFT OPTIONS
You can work any of the following shifts on the available dates:
*8:00am – 4:00pm
*10:00am – 6:00pm
*12:00pm – 8:00pm
There may be flexibility to work multiple dates, so please let us know your availability when applying.

THE ROLE
As part of the Move-In Team, you’ll be:
*Meeting and greeting students as they arrive at their accommodation
*Helping students and their families with the move-in process
*Moving and carrying luggage, boxes and heavy bags
*Providing friendly, helpful information and directions
*Answering questions and making students feel welcome
*Helping the accommodation team keep move-in running smoothly
*Being a positive and approachable first point of contact for new students

*Physically fit and comfortable lifting/carrying heavy bags

*Professional and passionate about giving students a great first impression
You don’t need previous experience — personality, enthusiasm and a great attitude are what matter most!
