Full job descriptionWe are currently supporting our Cheshire based client to recruit an experienced Payroll & Finance professional into their payroll team to support and develop the existing payroll service to their clients within the public sector, a real team player who will support and take responsibility for a portfolio of clients. This role will involve completing the full end to end payroll process and all year end activities, accurately and in a timely manner.


Responsibilities
*End to end payroll - Monthly
*Ability to perform finance functions alongside Payroll
*Manipulation of data within Excel
*Year end processes including the preparation of P11D’s and HMRC submissions
*Assist with finance functions - Purchase ledger, invoicing
*Providing a first class customer service to clients
*Processing of LGPS pensions and TPS


Requirements
*Experienced end to end payroller
*Excellent communicator
*Payroll experience, including all year end activities
*Experience of working with local authority would be an advantage
*Full time
*Opportunity to transition a payroll
