Contract: 3 Months
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Pay: From £16.00 per hour Umbrella - pay may be increased depending on relevant direct Recovery Worker experience

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Recovery Worker to join a specialist substance misuse service in Hatfield on an initial 3-month contract.
You will support service users throughout their recovery journey, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm and promote long-term recovery.
Key Responsibilities* Support service users from assessment through treatment and recovery.
* Complete screening, assessments and risk assessments.
* Manage a caseload and develop person-centred recovery plans.
* Deliver psychosocial interventions and motivational support.
* Provide harm-reduction advice and support.
* Make appropriate referrals to partner services.
* Advocate for service users and help overcome barriers to support.
* Support social reintegration, resilience and independence.
* Work effectively with the wider multi-disciplinary team.
* Maintain accurate and confidential case records.
About YouYou should have:
* Direct experience within a Recovery Worker, Drug & Alcohol or Substance Misuse role.
* Experience managing a caseload and completing assessments.
* Knowledge of recovery and harm-reduction approaches.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A person-centred, non-judgemental approach.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
