Full job descriptionOur Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Team Manager to join their Frontline Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Providing strong leadership and management to a team of Social Workers, Advanced Practitioners and Support Staff.
*Ensuring robust management oversight and effective risk management.
*Leading on complex safeguarding decisions and statutory interventions.
*Driving high-quality assessments, plans and interventions that improve outcomes for children and families.
*Chairing strategy discussions, professional meetings and departmental panels as required.
*Overseeing Child Protection, Child in Need and Children Looked After work.
*Supporting social workers through reflective supervision and professional development.
*Promoting excellent partnership working across multi-agency networks.
*Monitoring performance, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
*Contributing to service development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 year’s experience working as a Qualified social worker
