IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting Packer & Grader Operatives to join a busy warehouse operation in Ilminster.
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives, Packing Operatives, Food Production Operatives, Quality Operatives, or Packer & Grader Operatives looking for flexible, ad-hoc work within a fast-paced food production environment.
What We Offer*£13.30 per hour.
*£50 overtime bonus.
*Ad-hoc shifts to suit business needs.
*Working hours: 7am-6:30pm.
*Weekly pay.
*Supportive team environment.
*Opportunity to gain experience within a busy warehouse and food production setting.
Key Duties*Inspect potatoes and remove any that do not meet quality standards.
*Follow photographic grading standards to ensure product quality.
*Identify and report any foreign bodies found on the grading line.
*Pack potatoes carefully to ensure products reach customers in excellent condition.
*Monitor product quality throughout the packing process.
*Report damaged packaging, poor seals, split bags, or quality concerns to the Machine Operator.
*Ensure the correct number of bags are packed into trays or MUs and stacked correctly on pallets.
*Apply the correct labels to products accurately.
*Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and food quality procedures.
Requirements*Excellent attention to detail.
*Ability to maintain high quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
*Good communication skills.
*Positive, proactive, and reliable approach to work.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Strong work ethic and commitment to health, safety, and food quality procedures.
