Overview:
We are looking for a Quality Technician to support quality standards across a growing business. You’ll work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams to inspect products, investigate quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
*Carry out first-off, in-process, final and incoming inspections.
*Conduct factory inspections to identify and prevent quality issues.
*Use verniers, micrometres, gauges and visual inspection techniques.
*Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes and support corrective actions.
*Work with production teams to reduce defects and improve quality.
*Support customer and supplier quality investigations.
*Maintain accurate inspection records and ERP documentation.
*Support new product introduction, internal audits and ISO 9001 compliance.
*Promote right-first-time working and continuous improvements.
Key Requirements:
*Experience in manufacturing, engineering, production, assembly, maintenance, warehousing or a similar environment.
*Strong attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving skills.
*Methodical approach and ability to follow quality procedures.
*Good communication and teamwork skills.
*Comfortable using Microsoft Office; ERP and inspection equipment experience is advantageous.
*Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
