Pay Scale: £90.00 - £105.00 per day
Are you a patient, resilient, and enthusiastic Behaviour Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity? Do you have experience supporting children with behavioural, social, emotional, or additional needs?
A welcoming and inclusive Specialist School in Wokingham is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to provide focused 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of behavioural and SEN needs, including SEMH, ADHD, autism (ASD), and emotional and learning difficulties.
This Behaviour Teaching Assistant role will involve:
*Providing consistent 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural needs
*Helping pupils manage emotions and develop positive coping strategies
*Supporting positive behaviour and encouraging engagement in learning
*Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
*Creating a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
*Working closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and other support professionals
*ASAP start
*Well-connected Wokingham location with good public transport links
If you have previous experience working with children, particularly within education, youth work, care, or a similar setting, we would love to hear from you. Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs is desirable, but a positive attitude, resilience, and willingness to learn are equally important for this Behaviour Teaching Assistant position.
The school offers ongoing training and strong support from an experienced leadership team, making this a fantastic opportunity for a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to build valuable experience and develop their career within a specialist educational environment.
