Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity within a supportive school environment? Do you have experience working with children with special educational needs or a strong understanding of SEN?
A welcoming and inclusive Specialist School in Reading is looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to provide high-quality 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASD), ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs, and SEMH.
This SEN Teaching Assistant role will involve:
*Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
*Supporting pupils with their learning, communication, and social development
*Helping to create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
*Encouraging positive engagement and building pupils’ confidence
*Supporting teachers with classroom activities and interventions
*Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
*ASAP start
*Well-connected Reading location with excellent transport links
If you have previous experience working with children, particularly within an SEN setting, or have a strong understanding of additional needs, we would love to hear from you. This SEN Teaching Assistant role would suit someone who is patient, adaptable, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
