This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected manufacturer of luxury bespoke furniture and interiors.
We’re looking for a Timber Component Preparers & Spray Finishers to join a skilled and passionate finishing team in Sidcup. You’ll play a key role in transforming high-quality timber, veneer and MDF components into beautifully finished products that meet exceptional standards.
Whether you’re an experienced Spray Finisher or have transferable manufacturing skills and are looking to build a long-term career in craftsmanship, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for!
What will you be doing?
Working within a busy, modern finishing department, you’ll be involved in a variety of hands-on tasks, including:
*Preparing timber, veneer and MDF components for finishing
*Sanding components to an exceptional standard
*Spray finishing furniture using 2-pack paints and lacquer systems
*Assembling furniture units and finished products
*Working from technical drawings and production instructions
*Maintaining consistently high standards of quality and attention to detail
*Supporting production schedules and occasional overtime when required
What are we looking for?
We’re looking for practical, reliable and detail-focused individuals who genuinely take pride in the quality of their work.
Ideally, you’ll have experience with:
*Spray equipment and professional finishing techniques
*Sanding and preparation tools
*Timber, veneer, MDF or furniture manufacturing
*Working from technical drawings or specifications
You’ll also need:
*Excellent attention to detail
*A quality-focused approach to your work
*Good communication and teamwork skills
*A positive attitude and willingness to learn
*A strong work ethic and pride in producing exceptional results
No experience? Trainee applications are welcome!
If you don’t have direct experience as a Spray Finisher but have transferable practical or manufacturing skills, we’d still love to hear from you.
Full training can be provided for enthusiastic individuals who demonstrate commitment, reliability and a genuine interest in developing specialist manufacturing skills.
