Customer Service & Logistics Co-ordinator
Plympton, Plymouth
Part-Time | Monday to Friday | 11:00am - 4:00pm
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Customer Service & Logistics Co-ordinator to join a busy and expanding business based in Plympton.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company experiencing continued growth, offering a varied and fast-paced role where no two days are the same.
Whether you’re coordinating urgent deliveries, supporting customers, or working closely with drivers and logistics partners, you’ll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly while delivering exceptional customer service.
What you’ll be doing:*Coordinating scheduled and urgent deliveries across the UK
*Managing customer enquiries and providing real-time updates
*Liaising with drivers, suppliers and logistics partners
*Preparing quotations and responding to service requests
*Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of operations
*Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
*Identifying opportunities to support business growth
*Ensuring high levels of service are delivered at all times
*Helping maximise operational efficiency through effective planning and communication
What we’re looking for:*Previous experience in customer service, administration, logistics, sales support or a similar role
*Good geographical knowledge of the UK and confidence working with locations, routes and distances to support effective delivery planning
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
*Good attention to detail
*Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
