Are you an ambitious Part-Qualified Accountant looking for the next step in your finance career?

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Assistant Accountant to join a growing and supportive finance team.
Working closely with experienced finance professionals, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the finance function while continuing to develop your knowledge and experience.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic role for someone who is AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA, with a genuine desire to progress into a Management Accountant or more senior finance position in the future.
You will gain valuable exposure across a wide range of accounting responsibilities, including:
*Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
*Preparing and posting journals, accruals and prepayments
*Completing balance sheet reconciliations
*Supporting the month-end and year-end processes
*Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
*Supporting cash flow reporting
*Investigating variances and providing financial analysis
*Assisting with VAT returns and other statutory reporting
*Working closely with colleagues across the wider business
*Supporting continuous improvement projects and the development of finance processes
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
*Part-Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or actively studying towards a professional qualification
*An ambitious and motivated finance professional looking to develop their career
*Ideally experienced within an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
*Comfortable working with Excel and financial systems
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*Keen to learn, take on new responsibilities and develop professionally
*A strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
