School Chef Opportunity in Romsey
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie or above to join a busy catering team within a school setting in Romsey.
This is an excellent opportunity for a chef seeking consistent daytime hours, a great work-life balance, and a long-term temporary assignment that could run for a full academic term or longer.
Responsibilities:
*Preparing and cooking fresh meals for students and staff
*Assisting with menu preparation and food production
*Completing daily kitchen preparation tasks
*Maintaining high food hygiene and health & safety standards
*Supporting food service during busy lunch periods
*Assisting on service counters when required
*Working collaboratively within a busy catering team
Requirements:
*Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or higher
*Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
*Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
*A positive and flexible attitude
*Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
