Full job descriptionAs an Estates Conveyancer in Bury St. Edmunds, you’ll handle property transactions and ensure legal compliance in the process. This role plays a key part in keeping the business running smoothly by managing documentation and liaising with relevant parties in the property industry.

Key responsibilities include:
*Managing residential plot sale transactions from instruction to completion.
*Monitoring and reporting on transaction progress and related property sales.
*Preparing and issuing legal documentation and responding to enquiries.
*Coordinating exchanges, completions and post-completion activities.
*Conducting AML and customer due diligence checks.
*Maintaining accurate case records and management information.
*Liaising with solicitors, purchasers and third-party stakeholders.
*Supporting performance targets through proactive transaction management.
*Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry regulations.
*Contributing to process improvements and best practice initiatives.
Profile
A successful Estates Conveyancer should have:
*Previous experience in residential conveyancing or property law.
*Strong understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion.
*Knowledge of AML, compliance and due diligence requirements.
*Exceptional organisation and prioritisation skills.
*Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy.
*Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
*Proactive, commercially aware and solutions-focused approach.
*Experience within new-build property transactions would be advantageous.
