North West - commutable from Blackburn, Blackpool, Lancaster, Wigan, Bolton, Burnley, Southport and surrounding areas

Are you a Technical Manager from a food background looking for a senior role within an established organisation on an initial 6 Month Contract?

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a technical function, managing and developing a team whilst working closely with suppliers and internal departments to maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance.

The organisation is well established within their sector and can offer a secure, senior position alongside an excellent benefits package and further opportunities to develop.

The Role:
*Lead the Technical function and manage/develop the technical team
*Manage supplier approval, performance, audits and BRC compliance
*Oversee product specifications, food legislation and technical documentation
*Work closely with Purchasing/Commercial teams on NPD and supplier approval

The Person:
*Technical Manager from a Food / FMCG background
*Strong knowledge of food legislation, BRC and specification management
*Experience with supplier audits, NPD and supplier technical management
*Leadership experience and a full UK driving licence
