IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a large international company in Kingsbridge.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will receive, store, track and ship goods inside a distribution centre.


What We Offer*From £14.00 per hour.
*Monday to Friday, 8:30am-430pm.
*Temporary 4-week assignment, but could be longer.
*On-site parking.

Key Duties*Receiving and unloading: Unload incoming deliveries from trucks, check paperwork and inspect items for damage or missing parts.
*Picking and packing: Select correct items from shelves, place them into boxes and add labels or barcodes.
*Moving stock: Transport heavy goods and pallets around the facility using hand trucks, pallet jacks or forklifts.
*Inventory control: Scan barcodes, count inventory and record stock levels on a computer or digital system.
*Loading and dispatch: Pack and load finished orders onto vehicles for delivery.
*Cleaning and safety: Sweep floors, tidy workstations and follow safety rules to keep the workspace safe.


Requirements*Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative.
*FLT licence holder preferred but not essential.
*Own transport due to the job location.
*Ability to follow strict health and safety procedures.
*Good awareness of surroundings.
*Good working attitude.
