Full job descriptionAJ Chambers are working with a top-tier law firm renowned for its excellent culture, strong career development opportunities, and commitment to its people.
The firm is looking to appoint an Employment Associate to join its growing team in Reading.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Employment lawyer to join a highly regarded team, work on high-quality matters, and benefit from genuine opportunities for progression within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
*Contentious and Non Contentious duties across conduct concerns, redundancy,
*TUPE and whistleblowing.
*Tribunal litigation,
*Negotiating settlements
* HR support and Senior Executive experience
*Business development and full partner support
Key Requirements:
*Strong track record of dealing with employer advice and senior executive matters.
*Experience in the education sector including assisting independent schools on issues ranging from parent complaints and disputes, regulatory and SEND Tribunal matters.
*To undertake fee-earning work and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the Employment Team and Business Services Division.
*To contribute to the successful development of the firm in line with the business plan and firm’s commonality of purpose.
*To deliver a high quality commercial legal service ensuring personal compliance with quality standards and professional ethics.
*To be an ambassador for the firm at all times and always promote it in a positive light.
Qualifications:
*5 Years+ post qualification experience
*Admitted to the roll of solicitors or a member of the bar, FILEX.
*Employment Law knowledge in UK
*Business development experience
