Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:
*Managing end-to-end payroll for around 600 staff across multiple payrolls
*Handling starters, leavers, and manual salary calculations
*Processing statutory payments and pensions
*Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations
*Delivering business-as-usual payroll with a focus on quality assurance
*Suggesting and implementing process improvements once you’re up to speed
*Supporting project-based work to streamline payroll operations
What you will need:
*Previous experience in a similar payroll role (such as Payroll Officer, Payroll Administrator, Payroll Specialist, or Bureau Payroll)
*End-to-end payroll processing experience is essential
*Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot tables
*Experience with Sage 50 is desirable
*A proactive approach and the ability to get the job done
