The RoleWe are working with a well-established, family-run material handling business that is looking for an experienced Workshop Forklift Engineer to join their team in Mansfield.
This is a hands-on workshop role working on a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
Key Duties*Service and repair forklift trucks
*Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
*Work on electric, diesel and LPG equipment
*Carry out planned maintenance and inspections
*Fault-find and complete repairs
*Complete service paperwork
*Maintain a clean and safe workshop
*Work to company health & safety procedures
About YouIdeally, you will have:
*Previous forklift or material handling experience
*Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
*Good hydraulic and diagnostic skills
*Experience with electric, diesel or LPG equipment
*A reliable and professional approach
*The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Heavy Plant, Agricultural, Powered Access, HGV or Automotive Engineers with transferable skills will also be considered.
The Package*£38,000-£40,000 basic salary
*Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
*Standby available after probation
*Double-time overtime when called out on standby
*£200 monthly additional payment after probation, subject to performance
