1 IN 3 SATURDAY MORNINGS – PAID AT OVERTIME
Richard Abson Group is currently assisting a reputable main car dealership in Birkenhead in their search for a skilled and motivated Mechanic.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mechanic looking to work in a professional and well-equipped workshop as part of a dynamic team. The role offers a 1 in 3 Saturday morning rota, working 8:30am–12:30pm, with all Saturday hours paid at overtime rates.
As a Mechanic, you’ll be responsible for:
*Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to a high standard.
*Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
*Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in line with manufacturer guidelines.
*Working efficiently to achieve individual and team targets.
*Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment.
The Ideal Mechanic Candidate Will Have:
*Previous experience as a Mechanic in a main dealership, fast-fit centre, independent garage or similar automotive environment.
*NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
*Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
*A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship.
Mechanic Salary & Benefits:
*£34,000 Basic Salary
*£44,000 OTE
*1 in 3 Saturday mornings
*Saturday hours paid at overtime rates
*Saturday working hours: 8:30am–12:30pm
*Monday to Friday working week
