Full job descriptionKCR Solutions are assisting an excellent client to recruit an Interim Accountant for a 6-month FTC. This role will support the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and assisting with month-end and year-end processes.
The successful candidate will be a qualified, part-qualified or a QBE accountant with strong technical accounting skills and the ability to manage a small team.
Key Responsibilities
*Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
*Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
*Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies.
*Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
*Maintain and improve financial controls and processes.
*Manage accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
*Assist with cash flow forecasting and treasury activities.
*Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
*Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.
*Manage and support a team
