We are currently working with a highly regarded Wealth Management firm who are seeking talented individuals to join their established Trainee Financial Planner Programme, offering a clear and structured pathway towards becoming a qualified Financial Adviser. This is an excellent opportunity to develop professionally, build lasting client relationships and progress within a successful and growing financial planning business.

This role forms part of a structured development programme overseen by an experienced Adviser Development Manager, who will support your progression from trainee through to adviser status and beyond.
You will receive guidance and support to achieve your professional qualifications, including the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, with longer-term opportunities to work towards Chartered Financial Planner Status.
The initial phase of the programme focuses on developing a strong understanding of client administration and business processes, providing the foundations for a successful career in financial planning. You will work closely with experienced advisers, Chartered Financial Planners, technical specialists and colleagues at various stages of their own professional development.


Key Responsibilities
Support advisers and planners with client administration activities.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Assist with preparing information and reports for client meetings.
Develop a strong understanding of financial planning processes and advice delivery.
Build professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
Work towards achieving professional qualifications and career milestones.
Contribute positively to team objectives and business goals.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
Previous administration experience is preferred.
Understanding of business support processes and systems is advantageous.
Knowledge
Awareness of the financial services market, including financial products, tax wrappers and the role of a Financial Adviser.
Understanding of investment and fund management principles is desirable.
Strong IT skills; experience with financial planning systems and platforms is beneficial but not essential.

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
High attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Confident and professional telephone manner.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
Qualifications
Commitment to achieving the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning through the Academy Programme (if not already attained).
Ambition to progress towards Chartered Financial Planner Status.
