Full job descriptionAre you an experienced Food Production Operative looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position?
We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and well-established food manufacturing business based in Shoreham-by-Sea. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their production team with reliable and hardworking individuals who have previous experience working within food production, manufacturing, or a fast-paced production environment.

*Competitive pay of £13.14 - £14.27 per hour
*Temporary-to-permanent opportunity
*Full-time hours with regular shifts

Your duties will include:
*Preparing, mixing, and assembling food products using production machinery and equipment
*Handling raw ingredients and following production specifications
*Operating within strict food hygiene and health & safety procedures
*Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
*Moving products and ingredients safely around the production facility
*Cleaning equipment and maintaining high housekeeping standards
*Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
Available shifts include:
*AM Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm
*PM Shift: 2:00pm - 10:00pm
*Night Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
*Previous experience within food production, food manufacturing, production, or a factory environment
*The ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet production targets
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
*Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety practices
*A reliable and positive approach to work
*Good teamwork and communication skills
Please note: Previous food production or manufacturing experience is preferred and candidates with relevant experience will be prioritised.
