Full job descriptionWe are partnering with a prestigious organisation just outside central Oxford to recruit a dedicated Finance Officer to join their team. This role involves a range of financial responsibilities including managing charges and statements, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with audit preparations.
Offering hybrid working with 1 day remote per week, alongside free on-site parking outside the congestion zone, this role is accessible for anyone within reach of Oxford. Day-to-day of the role:
*Check and post all charges and prepare and distribute monthly and termly statements.
*Charge fees, accommodation costs, and associated charges.
*Handle day-to-day queries, providing a helpful and complete service.
*Respond quickly to emails, acting as a point of contact for all debt queries.
*Maintain accurate records on Microsoft GP and prepare monthly reconciliation of control accounts.
*Manage allowances and post internal charges.
*Perform termly reconciliation of fees
*Assist with the development and documentation of internal controls, systems, and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualified or equivalent.
*Strong numerical and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
*Excellent organisational skills, initiative, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
*Good IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Microsoft GP is advantageous.
*Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with a variety of people.
