We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Greenwich. This full-time role involves supporting pupils with complex special educational needs, including autism, communication difficulties, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviours.

The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with complex SEND.
*Work closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver personalised learning plans.
*Support pupils with behavioural, emotional, and social needs.
*Assist with communication, sensory, and learning activities tailored to individual needs.
*Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
*Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
*Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly those with complex needs.
*Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour.
*A patient, resilient, and caring approach.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
*A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Desirable
*Experience within a SEND school, mainstream school, or specialist setting.
*Care experience, including support work, residential care, personal care, or healthcare settings, is highly welcomed and transferable to this role.
*Relevant qualifications in Education, Childcare, Health & Social Care, or SEND support.
