REED Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded school in Cottenham, Cambridgeshire, to recruit a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join their site team on an ongoing full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors.
Working Hours
The preferred working pattern is a split shift:
*6:00am - 9:00am
*3:00pm - 8:00pm
*Monday to Friday
There can be some flexibility around these hours for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
*Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas
*Maintaining washrooms and replenishing supplies
*Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
*Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
*Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the school
*Following health and safety procedures at all times
The Ideal Candidate
*Previous experience in a cleaning, housekeeping, or facilities role
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
*Good attention to detail
*A positive and professional attitude
*Experience working within a school or educational setting would be advantageous but is not essential
