Full job descriptionAlexander Daniels are partnering with a well-established Accountancy Practice that is looking for a Senior Accountant / Client Manager to join its growing team. The Role:You will manage a varied portfolio of SME clients across a range of sectors, taking ownership of client relationships and providing expert accounting and business advice.
*Managing a portfolio of limited company, partnership, and sole trader clients
*Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
*Reviewing management accounts and bookkeeping work
*Preparing and reviewing corporation tax and personal tax returns
*Acting as the main point of contact for clients and responding to day-to-day queries
*Advising clients on business performance, growth, and financial matters
*Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
*Identifying opportunities to add value and develop client relationships
*Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
About You*ACA or ACCA qualification (or be qualified by experience)
*Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
*Experience managing a client portfolio
*Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and taxation
*Excellent communication and relationship management skills
*A proactive and commercial approach to client service
*Experience with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
