Full job descriptionVan Driver – Swansea
Location: Swansea
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
Duration: 4 weeks initially, with the possibility of an extensionWe are currently recruiting for a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our client’s team in Swansea on a temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver goods to customers across Swansea and surrounding areas.
*Load and unload the van safely and efficiently.
*Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
*Follow planned delivery routes and schedules.
*Obtain proof of delivery and complete relevant paperwork accurately.
*Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
*Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time.
*Adhere to all road traffic regulations and company procedures.
Requirements*Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
*Previous van driving or delivery experience is desirable.
*Good knowledge of Swansea and the surrounding areas.
*Strong communication and customer service skills.
*Physically fit, with the ability to load and unload goods.
*Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work.
What’s on Offer*£12.71 per hour.
*Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm.
*4 weeks’ work initially, with the possibility of an extension.
*Consistent working hours.
*Full training and induction provided.
*Support from the Pertemps team throughout your assignment.
