Full job description We are looking for an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to join a growing freight forwarding and logistics team based in Bingham.
This is a varied, fast-paced role where you’ll take responsibility for coordinating customer shipments from start to finish, primarily across Air and Sea Freight. You’ll work closely with customers, transport providers, warehouses, suppliers and internal teams to ensure shipments run smoothly and any issues are resolved quickly.
Location: Bingham
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Working Pattern: Hybrid working (after training period)

The Role
*Coordinating Air and Sea Freight shipments from start to finish.
*Monitoring shipments and ensuring goods are delivered on time.
*Acting as a key point of contact for customers, providing proactive updates.
*Resolving delays, customs holds, missed collections and other operational issues.
*Preparing and checking shipping and customs documentation.
*Liaising with transport providers, warehouses, suppliers and internal teams.
*Maintaining accurate information within logistics systems.
*Handling customer queries and resolving disputes.
*Identifying opportunities to improve operational processes and efficiency.
About You
*Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple shipments and deadlines.
*An excellent communicator with a strong customer-service approach.
*Detail focused, particularly when dealing with shipping documentation, invoices and customs paperwork.
*Confident solving problems and making decisions in a fast-paced environment.
*Commercially aware, proactive and self-motivated.
*Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and Teams.
*Able to work collaboratively across different teams.
*Previous Air and/or Ocean Freight experience would be highly advantageous.
