An established and growing civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in the North East of Scotland.
Working across a range of infrastructure, utilities and civil engineering projects, you will play a key role in ensuring commercial success from project award through to final account. This position offers excellent exposure to varied projects, a supportive management team and opportunities for further career development.
The Role
*Commercial management of multiple projects across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire
*Preparation of monthly cost and value reports (CVRs)
*Submission of applications for payment and management of project valuations
*Management of subcontractor accounts, variations and final accounts
*Monitoring project performance, cash flow and profitability
*Identifying commercial risks and opportunities
*Liaising with clients, operational teams and key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
*Supporting commercial best practice across project teams
About You
*Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure or utilities
*Strong commercial and contractual awareness
*Experience managing subcontractors and project costs
*Excellent communication and negotiation skills
*Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a team
*Proficient in Microsoft Office
*Full UK driving licence
Desirable
*Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
*Experience within infrastructure, utilities, groundworks, earthworks or civil engineering projects
