The Job you will do:
*Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring production processes run safely, efficiently and effectively.
*Lead, coach and develop the Production Team to achieve operational and business objectives.
*Ensure production plans are delivered on time, in full and in line with required quality standards.
*Drive continuous improvements in production efficiency, yield, productivity and waste reduction.
*Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, hygiene, environmental and other relevant regulatory requirements.
*Utilise the ERP system effectively to optimise production planning, performance and overall operational efficiency.
*Ensure all team members are appropriately trained, competent and capable of consistently meeting required standards.
*Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure effective communication, coordination and achievement of business goals.
*Promote employee engagement, teamwork and a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
*Support continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve processes and enhance operational performance.
*Help maintain a strong culture of safety, quality, legality, authenticity and product integrity across the operation.
*Support customer visits, external and internal audits, complaints, incidents and product recalls as required.
*Identify and implement opportunities to reduce energy consumption, minimise waste and lower the organisation’s carbon footprint.
About you:
*Experience with the Food, Drink or FMCG industry is highly desirable
*Experience working as a Production Team Leader, Supervisor, Manager or similar
*Able to set a good example and positive work culture
*Good communication skills at all levels
*IT literate (Microsoft Office)
