An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Senior to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Chelmsford.
This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys managing client relationships, delivering exceptional service and working across a varied portfolio of clients within a collaborative and supportive environment.
The Role
As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance deadlines are met and delivering a high standard of service.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing a portfolio of tax clients and acting as a key point of contact.
*Preparing tax returns in accordance with firm procedures.
*Ensuring work is completed accurately, on time and within budget.
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
*Supporting and mentoring junior team members.
*Ensuring all legal and statutory compliance requirements are met.
*Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an exceptional client experience.
*Identifying opportunities to add value and support client growth.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
*ATT qualification.
*At least 3-5 years’ tax experience within an accountancy practice.
*Experience managing a portfolio of clients.
*Strong personal and/or corporate tax knowledge.
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service.
*Experience using tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
*The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
