The role of the Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Refurbishment will involve:
*Quantity Surveyor position dealing with a various commercial construction projects across primarily the public sector
*Manage the commercial and financial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring costs are controlled and budgets are maintained
*Prepare cost estimates, valuations, financial reports, variations, and final accounts.
*Support procurement activities, including tender analysis, subcontractor appointments, and contract administration
*Carry out regular site visits, monitor project progress, and identify commercial risks and cost-saving opportunities
*Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery
*Typical project sizes ranging between £700k - £3m
The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Refurbishment industry with:
*Must have Quantity Surveying experience in construction
*Experience within large scale public sector projects would be highly advantageous
*Would consider a more junior graduate or a trainee
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels
*Confident and articulate
