Job Description:
Full job descriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join a large and complex organisation in Leeds on a 12-month fixed-term contract.This is a varied role offering exposure to management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and stakeholder engagement, supporting senior managers and budget holders across a diverse operational area.
Key Responsibilities
*Produce monthly management accounts and financial reports
*Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning
*Monitor income and expenditure, investigating variances
*Provide financial insight and support to non-finance stakeholders
*Assist with project costing, business cases and financial analysis
*Build strong relationships across the wider organisation
*Act as a key point of contact for financial queries and advice
About You
*Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent experience
*Previous management accounting, forecasting and budgeting experience
*Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
*Excellent analytical and communication abilities
*Advanced Excel and reporting skills
*Able to manage competing priorities and work to tight deadlines
