Description
The Finance Officer’s responsibilities include:
*Oversee daily financial transactions, including payments and receipts.
*Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
*Reconcile bank statements and ensure compliance with financial policies.
*Assist with the preparation of financial statements and audits.
*Chase outstanding debt over the phone and via email.
*Provide financial advice and insights to support decision-making.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective financial management.
Profile
A successful Finance Officer should have:
*Experience in accounting or finance roles.
*Strong knowledge of financial processes and regulations.
*Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*An eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.
*The ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively.
*A relevant qualification in accounting or finance is desirable.
*Experience working for a not-for-profit organisation is desirable.
Job Offer
Benefits include:
*Salary between £32,000 and £38,000, dependent on the level of experience.
