An opportunity has arisen for a full time senior payroll assistant to join our team:
Client Details
We are supporting a long standing accountancy practice based in the Warrington area recruit for their small payroll team.
Description
*You will be responsible for processing payrolls for clients accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner using Superpay.
*You will manage end-to-end payroll processing for your assigned client portfolio, ensuring that client and employee records are maintained accurately.
*You will ensure all deadlines are met including weekly and monthly payroll processing
*You will handle queries from clients, HMRC, and internal colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
*Processing a small number of CIS returns
*Processing benefits in kind through payroll software
*Opportunity to broaden your experience and work within a supportive team
*Office opening hours: Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm
Profile
Requirements
*Previous experience of working in a payroll role in either practice or industry
*Previous experience of auto-enrolment
*Excellent attention to detail
*Friendly and efficient manner when dealing with queries.
*Proven ability to stay up-to-date with changes to payroll legislation
*Good client-facing communication skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Offer
*24 days plus BH - Holidays
*37.5 hour working week
*Free parking on site
*Early finish every Friday
*CIPP study support
*Salary ranging from £30k to £35k DOE
