Full job descriptionYou will be joining a rapidly expanding, forward-thinking organisation based in Eccles, who are looking for a Credit Controller due to continued growth. The company boasts an excellent staff retention rate, with no departures from the finance team in the last five years. This is a full-time role on a nine-month temporary contract, requiring only two days per week in the office, with the remaining days worked from home. Key responsibilities will include managing a high-volume ledger, proactively contacting customers to recover outstanding payments, allocating and reconciling payments, resolving account queries efficiently, maintaining accurate customer records, and working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve any issues that may impact payment. You will also assist with aged debt reporting and complete additional ad hoc tasks as required. This position is ideal for experienced candidates seeking autonomy and flexibility, as well as junior applicants looking to build on their existing credit control and finance skills.
To be considered, you must have some level of transactional finance experience, ideally within Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, or Sales Ledger. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a confident approach to dealing with customers are essential.
