An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially minded Finance Manager to join a rapidly growing, innovative business based in Wiltshire.
Working directly alongside the Managing Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting business growth, influencing strategic decision-making, and building the financial foundations needed for the next phase of the company’s journey.
This is far more than a traditional finance position. It’s a genuine opportunity to become a trusted advisor to senior leadership, with a clear pathway towards a future Finance Director position.
The OpportunityAs Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the finance function while partnering with the Managing Director and leadership team to drive performance, improve processes and support strategic initiatives.
You’ll be joining the business at an exciting stage of growth, where your input will directly influence commercial decisions, operational improvements and long-term success.
Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Managing Director to support business growth and strategic decision-making.
*Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
*Produce monthly management accounts, financial reporting and performance analysis.
*Manage cash flow, financial controls and overall business performance.
*Deliver insightful reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
*Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and scalability.
*Support strategic projects, investment decisions and future growth initiatives.
*Strengthen finance systems, processes and reporting capabilities.
*Build strong relationships across the business, acting as a trusted finance partner.
*Contribute to the development of a high-performing and commercially focused organisation.
About YouWe’re looking for a proactive and commercially astute finance professional who enjoys working in a growing business environment and wants to make a genuine impact.
You will ideally bring:
*Experience within a Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant, Commercial Accountant or similar role
*Proven experience managing management accounts, budgeting and forecasting
*Strong P&L, cash flow and financial reporting experience
*The ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
*A hands-on approach with the ambition to progress your career
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
QualificationsYou will be:
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
*Experienced in preparing management accounts and financial reports
*Familiar with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
*Knowledgeable in UK financial reporting and financial controls
