Job overviewClinical Immunology-John Radcliffe Hospital
21.5 hours - Band 5
We are seeking to appoint an Administrator/Team Leader for Clinical Immunology to join our friendly team within Clinical Immunology. The post is based at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
We are looking for a person to join our small team. This is an important part of the efficient running of the department. We run treatment clinics for patients with antibody deficiency and a busy drug allergy clinic. This would suit a candidate who has excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be expected to liaise with staff and colleagues at all levels. You should have the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload. You will need to demonstrate initiative and flexibility in your approach and be able to work in a busy environment.
Knowledge of the Trust’s Electronic Patient Record System (EPR) and knowledge of elective access standards would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
This position requires the demonstration of strong organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as being a team member. If you are self-motivated, enthusiastic and keen to join our team then we would encourage you to apply.

*To be responsible for the line management of the admin team, providing first level EPR support, ensuring that adequate cover is provided in all areas of activities.
*To be responsible for the daily management and supervision of staff, monitoring sickness, and arranging cover for annual leave, in accordance with Trust policies.
*To develop a personal development plan (PDP) with staff and to ensure training and development needs are adequately met. To evaluate staff performance against PDP’s, taking appropriate action to ensure that staff abilities and aptitudes are developed and potential maximised.
*To allocate work for staff and to complete monthly sickness/salary return.
