*Prepare and submit personal tax returns for a variety of clients.
*Assist with tax compliance and advisory tasks.
*Maintain accurate records and ensure deadlines are met.
*Support senior team members with client queries and correspondence.
*Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation.
*Identify opportunities for tax planning and efficiencies.
*Communicate effectively with clients to gather required information.
*Contribute to the smooth running of the tax department.
Profile
A successful Personal Tax Assistant should have:
*Experience in personal tax preparation or a related role.
*A good understanding of current tax legislation.
*Strong organisational and time management skills.
*Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
*Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Proficiency with tax software and standard office applications.
*Working towards accounting qualifications such as ATT, ACCA, ACA.
Job Offer
*Salary between £30,000 and £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
*1 day of working from home per week.
