Full job descriptionExecutive Assistant to Managing Partner Private Equity | Central London | £80,000 to £100,000 plus bonus and benefits
C&C Search is partnering with a highly successful private equity firm to appoint an exceptional Executive Assistant to its Managing Partner.
This is not a traditional administrative role. It is a high-trust, high-visibility position with significant Business Assistant and Junior Chief of Staff scope.
The successful candidate will operate at the centre of the firm, becoming an indispensable extension of the Managing Partner and managing the priorities, information and relationships surrounding him.
The role offers direct exposure to the firm’s most important decisions, investments, fundraising activity and stakeholders. It requires someone who can anticipate requirements, exercise excellent judgement and turn ambiguity into action.
Key responsibilities Strategic support to the Managing Partner
*Act as a trusted right hand, sounding board and gatekeeper
*Ruthlessly prioritise the Managing Partner’s time, meetings and commitments
*Prepare detailed briefings, agendas and background information
*Attend Partner meetings and ensure actions are completed
*Maintain cohesion and clear communication across the partnership and wider firm
*Draft and manage correspondence on the Managing Partner’s behalf
Projects and execution
*Own cross-functional projects and special initiatives from inception to delivery
*Coordinate activity across the investment team, portfolio companies and advisers
*Prepare presentations, investment committee papers, board materials and memos
*Conduct research and translate information into clear, decision-ready summaries
*Track deadlines and hold internal and external stakeholders accountable
Investor relations and fundraising
*Support global fundraising campaigns, roadshows and investor meetings
*Build trusted relationships with limited partners and prospective investors
*Maintain the investor pipeline and CRM
*Track communications, commitments and next steps
*Prepare and quality-check pitch decks, due diligence questionnaires and data-room materials
*Coordinate investor reporting with the investment and finance teams
Events and operations
*Deliver AGMs, investor dinners, limited-partner gatherings and portfolio company off-sites
*Manage venues, budgets, suppliers, guest lists and event logistics
*Coordinate complex international travel and frequently changing diaries
*Manage expenses, confidential records and the day-to-day operation of the Managing Partner’s office
About you The successful candidate will bring:
*Experience supporting a senior executive within private equity, financial services, professional services or another high-performance environment
*Exceptional judgement and absolute discretion
*Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
*The confidence and polish to engage with investors and senior stakeholders
*Strong project-management capability and meticulous attention to detail
*A proactive, ownership-driven approach
*The ability to manage multiple competing priorities at pace

Package and working pattern Salary: £80,000 to £100,000, depending on experience
Package: Discretionary performance bonus and comprehensive benefits
