Academics are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Eastbourne from after the October half term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher looking for a full-time class teaching position for the remainder of the academic year, working within a supportive and friendly primary school.
The RoleAs the class teacher, you will take responsibility for the planning, delivery and assessment of engaging lessons, while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
You will be responsible for:
*Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
*Taking responsibility for the progress and development of your class
*Creating an engaging, inclusive and well-managed classroom
*Assessing pupils’ learning and adapting teaching accordingly
*Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
*Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school community
*Contributing to the wider life of the school
The Ideal CandidateThe successful Primary Teacher will:
*Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
*Have previous experience teaching within a UK primary school
*Be confident teaching a primary class independently
*Have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum
*Have excellent classroom management skills
*Be passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
*Be reliable, enthusiastic and committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils
