We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Autism Support Worker to increase the support we can offer to our partner schools in Bradford.
About the role
We are looking for an Autism Support Worker to work on a flexible, day-to-day basis, providing classroom support to cover both planned and unplanned staff absences, often at short notice. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work while making a positive impact in local SEND schools.
As a Autism Support Worker, you could be supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis, working with small groups, or assisting the class teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
What do I need?
*Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable.
*A positive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*The ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
*Good behaviour management skills.
*An understanding of safeguarding and the ability to follow school policies and procedures.
